Phil Winship - Teacher
I've been dancing for over 50 years mainly ballroom and latin but over the last 10 years I also got into modern jive and line dancing which I have taught for the past 2 years and absolutely love it. Taking people who are total beginners and some who have 2 left feet to proficient dancers is a passion of mine and one I totally love.
Supporting and motivating everyone is one area I believe in and take pride in. The feedback I receive really shows the appreceation.
I love making my classes fun and easy to follow as well as a little bit more thought provoking for my improvers.
Viv Winship - Helper/Admin
I've been dancing for over 20 years starting with modern jive then partnering Phil in ballroom and latin as well as being a member of a team doing a caberet at a hotel in Lytham St Annes. Line dancing has always been part of my dance portfolio and I have loved being able to be more involved over the past 2 years.
I am the first person people see when coming to classes as I take the money and it gives me the chance to welcome them especially new people who we have all the time.
As I know the dances I love getting involved with helping people learn steps and moves which is very satisfying seeing people get more proficient in their dancing.
